Renew Your BTR Online!

You can complete your Edgewood Business Tax Renewal from July 1st - September 30th. This renewal is for the next fiscal year 2026/2027, which runs from October 1, 2026 - September 30, 2027. If renewal payment is not received by September 30,  it shall be deemed delinquent and subject to a penalty of ten percent for the month of October, plus an additional five percent penalty for each month of delinquency thereafter until paid, but not to exceed 25 percent.

 

Please refer to your previous years BTR for rate, or check the City Code for detailed business tax rates. The current renewal payment amounts are as follows:

  • Commercial businesses: $98.12 

  • Home businesses, cosmetologists, etc.: $39.69 

A $5 service fee will be added to all credit card transactions. If you would like to pay by check/cash, please complete the paper renewal form and mail/drop off to the City for processing.  Your renewed Edgewood Business Tax Receipt will be mailed directly to your business within 14 business days after your application has been reviewed.

By paying this tax, I certify that this business/profession is currently in compliance with all licensing and regulatory requirements by the State of Florida, Orange County, and the City of Edgewood.
Business Tax Renewal Acknowledgement *
I understand that my Business Tax Receipt (BTR) must be renewed annually between July 1st and September 30th, and that it is my responsibility to ensure timely renewal. I acknowledge that the City is not obligated to provide renewal notices. Failure to renew my BTR or notify the City of business closure by September 30th will result in a Code Compliance violation.
