Contractor Registration for Permitting in the City of Edgewood
Contractors applying for permits to perform work within the City of Edgewood are required to register with our permitting department.
State-Certified Contractor Registration Requirements:
To register, state-certified contractors must provide the following documentation:
- Current Business Tax Receipt: A current business tax receipt issued by the Florida city or county where the business is located.
- State Certification: A copy of their state certification from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation.
- Proof of Insurance: Current proof of General Liability and Workers’ Compensation insurance or an exemption. Workers' Compensation insurance certificates must list the City of Edgewood as the certificate holder, using the following address: 405 Bagshaw Way, Edgewood, FL 32809.
