Stop the Violence Mentoring Program (Youth)
Stop the Violence and Embrace, Inc. is a not-for-profit anti-violence mentoring and community service organization located in Orlando. The focus is to improve the quality of life for all residents by creating a safer environment and offering programs and projects that redirect the lives of at-risk youth and young adults ages 14 to 24 years old. Stop ethe Violence and Embrace, Inc. will provide employment preparedness and placement, tutoring, GED support, computer skills training, life skills training, conflict thinking training, peer support groups and mentoring.

LIFE Information for Elders seminars
On the third Thursday of each month, the LIFE Information for Elders seminar series provides practical tips that help people find answers to questions they have about connecting with community resources, healthy living tips and staying active. Seminars are held from 12:10 to 12:50 p.m. at the Downtown Orlando Library, 101 E. Central Blvd., Orlando in the Albertson Room, which is located on the third floor. The Branching Out Series is held monthly at noon at a designated Orange County Library branch.
